Steubenville Parks and Recreation

The City of Steubenville offers over 200 acres of parks, playgrounds, hiking trails and ballfields for everyone to enjoy. Our park system consists of a recreation center, outdoor pool, 8 ball fields, tennis courts, playgrounds, splash pad, shelter houses, basketball courts, walking tracks, hiking trails and pickleball courts. Each of our parks offer a unique experience with different amenities at each location.

The Martin Luther King Recreation Center is free to use and offers an indoor basketball court, weight room, activity room, outdoor basketball court, pickleball courts and also offers senior hours from 8-10am on weekdays. Center hours are Monday thru Thursday 8am-8pm, Friday 8am-5pm and Saturday from 12-5pm.

If you are looking for something your kids to do the recreation department offers a wide variety of programs. There are swim lessons, youth basketball leagues, sport specific training, summer day camp, flag football and more that are offered at various points throughout the year.
